Launch of Glasgow Tobacco Strategy

In January 2005 will see the new Tobacco Strategy for the city of Glasgow was launched.

The Glasgow Tobacco Strategy maps out a vision for the city for the next 5-10 years. It will contribute to the improvement of the health, environmental and economic status of people living and working in the City of Glasgow by co-ordinating effective and sustained action against tobacco from organisations, communities and individuals working in partnership.

This strategy has been developed in consultation, taking account of current action against tobacco, directives from National Government, and strategic plans for Glasgow.
